Ray was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.  He started singing Elvis songs for his Mom & Dad at the age of five and always loved his music and movies.  He got his trade as a bricklayer following in his father's footsteps by the age of twenty.  All this time singing on weekends and working on the Elvis singing and movements.
Ray started this Las Vegas Style Show ten years ago and it has been described by Bobby Morris ( Elvis's personal conductor in 1970 who booked Ray for the Palace Station Casino) to be one of the most exciting live performances of THE KING in North America today.  The show has been extremely successful in promoting good times, with audience participation being a large part of its appeal.
Ray performs over 50 of the King's greatest songs. The entire show is self-contained, with a special effects light show and a studio quality sound system.
Memories of the King have consistently toured successfully throughout Canada and the United States for the past six years.  Performances include The Gold Eagle Casino, The Northern Lights Casino, The Sheraton Casino and Kewadin Casino where Mr. Hollick recorded a live performance and continues to draw capacity crowds.
Memories of the King opened for Jan and Dean, The Turtles and Jerry Lee Lewis in St. Ignace, Mich., also performed at The Palace Station Casino in Las Vegas, where he received standing ovations and excellent reviews.
The latest tour for Memories of the King was with Legendary Superstars in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where Ray was held over for an additional four months past the original contract, and planning to return this winter.
